Saving the World vs Playing the Lottery?

Saving the World is Just a Side Gig
May 24, 2025The Power of How went to great lengths to make the same case that all masters throughout history have made: our collective transformation will be the result of our individual transformation.
Likewise the case was made that in order to make that transformation, some inner conditioning will accelerate the process.
The Power of How also made it clear that unless each of us takes responsibility for that inner journey, not much will change.
It is in this context that the mobile app that will be launched to support this inner journey will need a name for that inner effort that can include any and all methods.
Whether your method is meditation, hiking, yoga, martial arts, conscious walking, or any number of ways to condition the right-hemisphere management of your attention, it would be nice to have a way we can refer to that inner effort.
We have chosen the phrase “Joy Ride.”
Given the choice to meditate or go for a joy ride, which would you prefer? You could spend hours “practicing” or on a joy ride for hours.
Same activities but this term creates a subtle call to the presence needed to uncover that is underneath in all of us, Love, Peace, and Joy.
Stands to reason that if your meditation or other practice method isn’t eventually uncovering some of that joy within you, it might be time to question the alignment of that posture.
The mobile app will help Spiritual Black Belts coordinate or join “joy rides.” What better term to incorporate into the language around those activities?
“Want to go on a joy ride with me tonight? Let’s start at 6.”
Keep in mind that the whole point of all of this is to increase your energy, even if just a little.
Just the idea of covering the earth with Spiritual Black Belts taking a joy ride together as we all hurl through space in the middle of nowhere sounds like fun.
